On January 20, the "The Bridge Between China and Honduras, Setting Sail from Dongguan" – Dongguan-Honduras Food Industry Matchmaking and Promotion Exchange Meeting, hosted by the Dongguan Science and Technology Bureau and organized by the China-Latin America and the Caribbean Technology Transfer Center, was successfully held in Dongguan. Zhang Yuan, Director of the Science and Technology Cooperation and Foreign Expert Management Section; You Sibi, Deputy Director of the same division; Liu Peng, Commercial Representative of Honduras in China; and several outstanding entrepreneur representatives from Dongguan attended the meeting.

From technology transfer and commercialization of innovation achievements to industrial matchmaking and academic exchange, she proposed forward-looking and actionable cooperation pathways, giving attendees a clearer understanding of the center's current status, major cooperation projects, and future development trends. Additionally, several entrepreneur representatives from Dongguan introduced the development of their respective enterprises and engaged in thorough discussions on Honduras' potential market demand and future expansion directions, drawing on their extensive industry experience.
