On July 28th, Luo Yun, Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of Nansha District in Guangzhou, Xin Zhangjin, Deputy Director of the Nansha International Cooperation and Exchange Center in Guangzhou, and Chen Baijia, General Manager of Shenzhen China-Latin America Operation Management Co., Ltd., paid a visit to the CLTTC. They held a meeting and exchanged views with Zhang Fanjing, Director of the Office of the China-Latin America Technology Transfer Center, and other representatives. The two sides deeply discussed topics such as drawing lessons from international science and technology cooperation models, linking Latin American resources for high-quality enterprises in Nansha, and coordinating joint activities for exchanges and visits. They jointly explored new paths for the coordinated development of innovation resources between the Greater Bay Area and Latin America.

During the exchange, Zhang Fanjing stated that the CLTTC, as the only comprehensive cross-border technology transfer institution in China that focuses on the Latin America and Caribbean regions, has always taken technology transfer as its main line and continuously built bridges for technological innovation cooperation between China and Latin America, fully promoting the two-way flow of innovation resources and practical cooperation between China and Latin America. Luo Yun said that he is willing to strengthen communication and exchanges with the center, promote resource sharing, and deeply understand the center's exploration and practice in the construction of international cooperation mechanisms, resource linking, and collaborative operations. At the same time, the representatives expressed their expectations to rely on the cooperation network and communication platform of the China-Latin America Technology Transfer Center covering the Latin American region, to further expand the connections between Nansha and the Latin American region in areas such as technological innovation, industrial cooperation, and enterprise exchanges, and promote the precise matching and coordinated development of more high-quality resources.

This exchange effectively connected the innovation resources in the Greater Bay Area and expanded the channels for cooperation with Latin America, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent deepening of practical cooperation between the two sides. The CLTTC will continue to leverage its advantages as a cross-border technology transfer and international scientific and technological innovation cooperation platform, promoting the precise matching of high-quality enterprises, advanced technologies and characteristic industries in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with the market demands in Latin America, accelerating the implementation and transformation of various cooperation intentions, and helping China achieve high-level opening up and deepening the collaborative development of scientific and technological innovation industries between China and Latin America.
