On June 5, the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center convened a matchmaking and exchange meeting with the Argentine Urban Organization Foundation and representatives of Dongguan-based enterprises. Pablo Rovellarata, Chairman of the Argentine Foundation for Urban Organization, Fernando Alvarez de Celis, Executive Director, representatives from ConHubForm (Hong Kong) Construction Technology Company Limited, Dongguan University of Technology Architectural Design and Research Institute and other enterprises, along with Zhang Fanjing and Yu Tianzuo, project supervisors of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center, jointly attended the meeting.

During the symposium, Project Director Zhang Fanjing systematically elaborated on the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center's development history, core functions, and latest achievements, underscoring its platform advantages in policy coordination, project incubation, and resource integration. In response, Chairman Roverista, aligning with Argentina's urban development objectives, proposed collaboration in green building and new energy—sectors that exhibit strong synergy with the technological prowess of Dongguan enterprises in new building materials and clean energy. Representatives from Dongguan subsequently presented their technological advancements and practical cases in the R&D and design of new eco-friendly materials, clean energy application, and engineering management. This facilitated in-depth discussions on green material applications and low-carbon urban planning, culminating in a significant consensus to jointly promote a China-Argentina sustainable urban development project.

As a pivotal platform for China-LAC scientific and technological cooperation, the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center will fully leverage its bridging role to systematically integrate resources from Argentine partners and high-caliber enterprises in Dongguan. This collaboration will synergistically advance the large-scale innovative application of green building and new energy technologies in Chinese and Latin American cities, thereby accelerating the implementation of sustainable development goals.
