The China-Portugal Science and Technology Center Visited the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center to Build a Bridge for Trilateral Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation.

On May 26, delegation from Centre for Science and Technology Exchange and Cooperation between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries (hereinafter referred to as the "The China-Portugal Science and Technology Center") visited the China-Latin America Technology Transfer Center. Chen Baiman, Executive Director of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center, held a meeting and exchange with Dai Ge, Deputy Director of the Zhuhai Science and Technology Innovation Bureau, and Wu Yangmei, Director of the International Cooperation Division, Zhuhai Science and Technology Innovation Bureau.

During the meeting, Executive Director Chen Baiman provided a comprehensive overview of the China-Latin America Technology Transfer Center, detailing its establishment background, operational model, and platform framework. He particularly highlighted its practical experience in international technological collaboration and achievement commercialization. Deputy Director Dai Ge expressed full affirmation of the Center's innovative approach, stating that efforts would be made to deepen bilateral cooperation, enhance experience sharing, and jointly facilitate the "Going Global" strategy for Chinese technologies.

Moving forward, the two parties will deepen their collaboration across three key areas: the joint application for Guangdong Province's international science and technology cooperation projects, the sharing of innovation competition resources, and the joint cultivation of young talent. This aims to achieve complementary advantages and synergistic development. The The China-Portugal Science and Technology Center will leverage its extensive experience in innovation competitions to support the China-Latin America Technology Transfer Center in advancing its Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program for Latin America. Conversely, the China-Latin America Technology Transfer Center will actively connect with innovation resources in Portuguese-speaking countries. Through joint initiatives such as establishing incubation platforms and organizing cross-border technology roadshows, it will integrate multilateral innovation resources from China, Latin America, and Portuguese-speaking nations, working collaboratively to forge a new paradigm in international sci-tech cooperation.
