On April 21, Gisella Paula Chica, Vice President of the Universidad Estatal Península de Santa Elena (UPSE), Yang Danyu, Deputy Dean of the International School of Dongguan University of Technology, and Chi Sushuang, General Manager of the Guangdong Branch of Beijing Wenhua Online Education Technology Co., Ltd., visited the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center (CLTTC). Chen Baiman, Executive Director of the CLTTC, Zhang Fanjing, Project Manager, and other representatives held in-depth discussions with the delegation on strengthening international educational cooperation and mechanisms for talent development.

During the meeting, Executive Director Chen Baiman elaborated on the development plan of the China-LAC Digital Education University Alliance and the progress of the China-LAC Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program. Vice President Gisella highly affirmed the direction of cooperation, noting that UPSE will actively participate in the development of the university alliance by leveraging the cooperation network of the CLTTC and the international education resources of Dongguan University of Technology. She emphasized the importance of joint talent training and student exchange programs in building a globally competitive system for cultivating international talent. Chen Baiman stated that the CLTTC will actively promote initiatives such as the Innovation Tour in China for Latin American Young Scientists and deepen the tripartite collaboration mechanism among UPSE, CLTTC, and Dongguan University of Technology, optimizing the layout of digital education resources and empowering the innovative development of China-LAC people-to-people exchanges.

This meeting marked a new stage in China-LAC digital education cooperation and clarified the implementation path for in-depth collaboration among the three parties. CLTTC will further expand multidimensional cooperation with Latin American universities, focusing on the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative and the advancement of high-level educational openness. It aims to build a collaborative innovation system for education and science and technology between China and Latin America, providing a practical model for international education cooperation.
