On May 7, Chen Baiman, Executive Director of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center (CLTTC), along with Project Manager Zhang Fanjing and Director Assistant Lu Bing, received Liu Jiyun, Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Dongguan University of Technology, and Lu Xiaojun, Party Secretary of the School. The two sides held a meeting to deepen cooperation.
During the meeting, Director Chen Baiman systematically outlined the Center's strategic positioning, operational mechanisms, and work achievements, with a focus on the progress of the China-LAC Digital Education University Alliance. The alliance is committed to promoting in-depth cooperation among its members in smart education innovation, talent cultivation between China and LAC countries, scientific research and technology application, cultural exchange, and policy dialogue, with the aim of enhancing educational resource sharing and two-way talent mobility between China and Latin America. Representatives from the School of Economics and Management highlighted their academic strengths in international trade policy analysis and digital economy applications, proposing practical cooperation in areas such as Latin American market research and cross-border e-commerce course development to support talent development in China-LAC economic and trade cooperation. Both parties reached a series of cooperation consensuses on developing specialized courses focusing on "International Trade + Digital Technology," including joint efforts in Latin American market analysis.

This exchange further expanded the scope of collaboration between the two institutions. Moving forward, the CLTTC and the School of Economics and Management at Dongguan University of Technology will establish a regular communication mechanism and jointly explore new pathways for international talent cultivation, contributing to the high-quality development of China-LAC educational cooperation.
