On September 4th, the Brazilian Consulate General in Guangzhou held a reception to celebrate the 204th anniversary of Brazil's independence and the 2026 "China-Brazil Cultural Year" anniversary in Guangzhou. The Center was invited to attend. Project managers Huang Qiongli and others from the center represented the center and had in-depth exchanges with representatives from government agencies, research institutions and enterprises present. They fully exchanged views on deepening practical cooperation in areas such as scientific and technological innovation and technology transfer between China and Brazil, further consolidating the foundation of bilateral scientific and technological cooperation.

The Brazilian Consul General in Guangzhou, Alan Coêlho de Sêllos, stated in his speech that the economic and trade cooperation between China and Brazil has achieved remarkable results. The two countries have obvious complementary advantages in areas such as energy, infrastructure construction, and technological innovation, and their development interests are highly aligned. In the future, it is necessary to further strengthen the collaboration and coordination between public institutions and the private sector, fully tap the potential for cooperation, and effectively benefit the people's well-being of both countries.

Brazil is a core partner of the center in deepening scientific and technological cooperation in Latin America. Relying on the bilateral scientific and technological cooperation mechanism, the center has established a branch center in Brazil and, through specialized platforms such as the China-LAC Digital Education University Alliance, has been regularly promoting practical cooperation in multiple fields including technology transfer, joint talent training, and incubation of scientific and technological enterprises. In the future, the center will continue to deepen precise connections and collaborative cooperation with Brazilian universities, research institutions, and scientific and technological enterprises, promoting the two-way flow of innovation resources and complementary advantages between the two countries, and helping to deepen and solidify the scientific and technological cooperation between China and Brazil, thereby empowering and facilitating the development of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
