On April 15, 2026 China (Shenzhen)-Mexico Symposium on Industrial and Investment Cooperation themed Paving the Way: Qianhai Expands New Frontiers in Mexico was successfully held in Shenzhen. Leveraging Qianhai’s edge as a frontier of opening-up, this event gathered government, trade, financial and law from both China and Mexico, establishing a platform for industrial investment and cross-border cooperation between China and Mexico. Yao Zeyi, Project Director, China-LAC Technology Transfer Center, attended the symposium upon invitation.

During the symposium, representatives from the Consulate General of Mexico in Guangzhou and industry experts delivered comprehensive analyses and sharing on investment opportunities in Mexico, legal compliance, financial financing, and local practical experience, providing multi-dimensional market insights and practical guidance for Chinese enterprises investing in Mexico. The launching ceremony of the Mexico Escort Service Alliance was also held at the event, aiming to integrate professional service resources and build a channel for cross-border industrial cooperation and investment and financing matchmaking.

This event gave full play to Qianhai’s role as a hub of opening-up, effectively promoted exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and Mexican government and business sectors in industrial investment, and injected new impetus into advancing industrial synergy and cross-border ecosystem development between China and Mexico. Moving forward, the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center will take this participation as an opportunity to actively connect industrial resources between China and Mexico, help more Chinese enterprises precisely seize opportunities in the Mexican market, and elevate China-Latin America scientific and technological and industrial cooperation to a higher level.
