On March 24, the Guangdong (Dongguan) Application Scenario Innovation Conference themed "Intelligent Innovation for New Scenarios, Harmonious Beauty for a New Life" officially kicked off in Dongguan Marina Bay New Area (National Artificial Intelligence Application Pilot Test Base). Under the guidance of the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the conference was co-hosted by the Dongguan Development and Reform Bureau, the Dongguan Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and the Dongguan Municipal Government Affairs and Data Bureau. It brought together more than 500 representatives from government departments, industry associations, scientific research institutions, financial institutions and leading enterprises. Yao Zeyi, Project Director of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center, attended the conference as a representative, aiming to expand cooperation space between China and Latin America in scientific and technological innovation and trade by connecting resources of high-tech enterprises.

The conference showcased Dongguan's scenario innovation strength as an "International Manufacturing City" and a "HarmonyOS City". On-site releases included 160 application scenario opportunity lists, 106 capability lists and 176 case lists featuring "high quality, full openness and fast implementation". These covered cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous driving, low-altitude economy and new energy, as well as 12 smart city scenarios including smart education, smart healthcare and smart transportation. Meanwhile, multiple innovation platforms including the Guangdong (Dongguan) Application Scenario Innovation Center and the Dongguan OpenHarmony Scenario Innovation Center were officially inaugurated.

In the future, the Center will continue to act as a national-level bridge, promoting more domestic high-tech enterprises to carry out practical cooperation with Latin American countries in intelligent manufacturing, new energy and other fields. It will explore feasible pathways to integrate scenario innovation achievements with market demand in Latin America, helping China-Latin America sci-tech and trade cooperation reach a higher level and achieve complementary advantages and win-win results.
