The 2025 BRICS Technology Transfer Center Collaboration Conference officially opened in Kunming, Yunnan Province on May 28th. This conference was guided by the Chinese Secretariat of the BRICS Working Group on Science, Technology and Innovation Entrepreneurship Partnership, and was jointly hosted by the Kunming Municipal Government and the New Quality Productivity Promotion Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, with the support of the Yunnan Provincial Department of Science and Technology. The BRICS Technology Transfer Center and the Kunming Science and Technology Bureau co-organized the event. Zhang Fanjing, the representative of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center, was invited to attend the conference and signed a cooperation agreement with the BRICS Technology Transfer Center.

At the conference, 11 representative technology transfer cooperation projects of the BRICS countries covering new materials, biomedicine, characteristic agriculture, astronomy and other fields were signed. Eight BRICS science and technology talent projects were also released. Six units signed the joint training initiative for BRICS technology managers, officially launching the project for professional talent training and capacity building in the transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements under the framework of the BRICS Working Group on Science, Technology and Innovation Entrepreneurship Partnership, aiming to foster a team of international technology managers jointly trained and certified by BRICS countries. The conference also released the list of the first 10 cooperative units of the BRICS Technology Transfer Center G60 Collaboration Base, and 15 units initiated the "Jointly Build an Alliance for BRICS-Oriented Overseas Expansion of Science and Technology Innovation Enterprises and Service Institutions" on the spot.

The China-LAC Technology Transfer Center closely cooperates with the BRICS Technology Transfer Center to fully accelerate the connection of scientific and technological innovation resources between China and Latin America, and empower the innovative development of the international technology transfer system.
