Cooperation in Science and Technology Exchange Meeting

CELAC participated in the exchange meeting of China Association for International Cooperation in Science and Technology organized by Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology. Mr. Zhuo Qing, Director of Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, Mr. Zhong Jingping, Deputy Director of Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, Mr. Jin Xiaoming, Former Director of International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Secretary General of the Board of Directors of the Center for China-United States Relations at Tsinghua University, and Chairman of the Science and Technology Diplomacy Committee, and Mr. Feng, Vice-President of the China Association for International Cooperation in Science and Technology (CAICST), and Mr. Sun Lijie, Executive Vice-President and Secretary General of the CAICST, were present at this meeting.

At the meeting, Chen Baiman, the person in charge of the preparatory team of CLTTC, reported the basic situation and future development plan of CLTTC to the participants, and Sun Lijie said that CLTTC and CAICST are highly compatible with the development concept of the Association, and that the members of the Association have a large number of diplomats and counselors who have been engaged in long-term country and regional studies.He looked forward to the in-depth exchanges and cooperation between CIASTEC and CLTTC.Mr. Jin Xiaoming suggested that CLTTC could consider organizing landmark exhibitions in the future, so as to broaden the communication platform and enhance the influence and popularity.
