On the afternoon of March 25, the "Dongguan University of Technology – Dongguan Chaoshan Chamber of Commerce Sci-Tech Services for Industrial Innovation Matching & Cooperation Event" was held in Dongguan, Guangdong. During the event, nearly 20 representatives from universities and enterprises, including Chen Haisheng, President of Dongguan Chaoshan Chamber of Commerce, Zhao Wenfa, Executive President, and Hu Qinhua, Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Dongguan University of Technology, visited the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center (CLTTC) for on-site research and exchanges. This event is an important practice to build a communication bridge between the national-level international sci-tech cooperation platform and local chambers of commerce, and to promote the precise matching of China-Latin America sci-tech resources with local industrial demands.

During the exchanges, Chen Baiman, Director of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center, introduced that since its establishment in June 2023, the Center has thoroughly implemented the national Belt and Road Science, Technology and Innovation Action Plan. It has adopted an innovative operation mechanism of government coordination plus private operation, and built a cooperation system centered on research, education, business and legal services. The Center has continuously expanded its overseas innovation collaboration network, laying a solid foundation for deepening the China-Latin America sci-tech innovation partnership, and has become an important supporting platform for boosting the construction of the international sci-tech innovation center in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Rooted in Dongguan for a long time, Dongguan Chaoshan Chamber of Commerce gathers a large number of leading enterprises in manufacturing and foreign trade, with remarkable advantages in scientific and technological innovation and industrial development. It boasts broad cooperation prospects with the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center in fields such as scientific and technological innovation collaboration.

In the future, the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center will deepen linkage with Dongguan Chaoshan Chamber of Commerce, and carry out practical cooperation in cross-border transformation of technological achievements, exploration of Latin American markets, industry-university-research collaborative innovation and other fields.
