On January 22nd, aiming to build a bridge for the joint cultivation of China-LAC digital talent and to activate new momentum for transnational sci-tech cooperation, the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center held a symposium focusing on topics such as China-LAC digital talent training, exploring practical pathways for international talent development. Representatives including Ao Xin, Deputy Director of the Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Government Services and Data Management; Shen Yingying, Chief of the Digital Development Section; and Chen Baiman, Director of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center, participated in the symposium.
During the meeting, Chen Baiman provided a detailed introduction to the practical explorations of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center in areas such as China-LAC smart education and talent cultivation. He stated that the China-LAC Digital Education University Alliance, through innovative measures like sharing digital courses, building smart classrooms, and jointly developing curriculum standards, is forging professional and interdisciplinary talents for international sci-tech cooperation.
Ao Xin acknowledged the achievements in technology transfer and talent cultivation made by the China-LAC Digital Education University Alliance, expressing hope for deeper exchange and cooperation in the field of digital talent training. Participants, considering Dongguan's digital economy development needs, proposed collaborative ideas regarding joint China-LAC digital talent cultivation and the development of digital platforms for technology transfer. All parties unanimously agreed on the need to fully leverage Dongguan's industrial strengths and the Center's platform resources to strengthen exchange and cooperation in dimensions such as digital skills training, youth talent exchange visits, and innovative project incubation.
In the future, the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center and the Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Government Services and Data Management will deepen practical collaboration in the field of joint digital talent cultivation, establish a sound regular cooperation and exchange mechanism, and further optimize their respective digital talent training systems. This will inject intellectual momentum into building Dongguan's digital talent pool and constructing a China-LAC community with a shared future.
