On the afternoon of June 17, a delegation from the Faculty of Law and Social Work of Dongguan University of Technology, headed by Party Committee Secretary Du Yingfa, visited the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center. The delegation included Vice Presidents Huang Junhui and Gong Hongbing, as well as Professor Wang Yan. They were received by Executive Director Chen Baiman and Project Director Zhang Fanjing, among others, with both parties holding discussions on deepening inter-university collaboration.

During the symposium, Director Chen Baiman briefed the delegation on the Center's operational mechanisms and current development. Both parties concurred on the necessity to continually explore innovative approaches for integrating industry, academia, and research with the cultivation of international talent. They reached significant consensus on areas including the Center's strategic roadmap, organizational optimization, and joint talent development. The meeting identified key areas for pragmatic cooperation, focusing on fostering internationally interdisciplinary talents and enhancing intellectual property protection services.

Building on the outcomes of this exchange, the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center will continue to leverage its two major platforms—the China-LAC University Alliance for Digital Education and the China-LAC International Intellectual Property Service Center—to integrate high-quality domestic and international resources. This effort aims to deepen international cooperation in areas such as digital education, rules-based guidance, and rights protection services. Moving forward, the Center will establish a long-term cooperation mechanism with the Faculty of Law and Social Work of Dongguan University of Technology. The two institutions will jointly explore innovative models for international technology transfer, thereby providing robust support for scientific and technological innovation and development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
