On March 14, Chen Baiman, Executive Director of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center (CLTTC), together with Project Managers Zhang Fanjing and Yu Tianzuo, met with Xing Xinhui, Executive Deputy Dean, and Zhang Canyang, Deputy Dean of the iBHE. The two sides held a strategic dialogue on the coordinated development of industry, academia, and research, reaching a consensus on building an integrated talent training system covering undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. Discussions focused on key topics such as talent selection mechanisms and a dual-track training model that emphasizes both practical skills and innovation capabilities. To this end, both sides plan to establish joint laboratories, collaborate on international research projects, and implement joint talent training programs. These initiatives aim to systematically attract high-level research talent from Latin America to China for academic exchanges, research collaboration, and technology commercialization, with the dual goal of enhancing biopharmaceutical R&D capabilities and optimizing the innovation in health engineering.

Looking ahead, CLTTC and Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School will deepen cooperation through diversified approaches such as talent exchange and joint project implementation. CLTTC will continue to monitor market trends in Latin America and explore innovative cooperation models to contribute to the sustainable development of both sides.
