On July 19th, Dr. Miguel Serra Pereiro from Uruguay's Institute of Agricultural Research (INIA), and Wu Shiyue, Secretary of Uruguay's Consulate General in Guangzhou, and his delegation visited the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center (CLTTC). They had a friendly talk with Dr. Liu Fengyuan from School of Life and Health, Dongguan Institute of Technology, Zhu Ziqi ,a section member from Department of International Exchange and Cooperation, Shi Zuoyu, Deputy Director, Zhang Fanjing and Yu Tianzuo, Project Director of CLTTC, to strengthen the cooperation in agricultural science and technology, academic exchange and other aspects.

At the interview meeting, Shi Zuoyu expressed his warm welcome to the visit of Dr. Miguel Serra Pereiro and his delegation, and introduced the development and main achievements of CLTTC. The two sides had an in-depth discussion on the topics of agricultural science and technology cooperation and international technology transfer, and actively exchanged views on how to expand the field of agricultural cooperation, and jointly explored innovative paths to achieve sustainable development.

Before the seminar, Dr. Miguel Serra Pereiro and his delegation highly appreciated the development vision and planning of CLTTC during their visit to Building G4 of Songshan Lake International Innovation Community, and expressed their hope that this interview would be an opportunity to further enhance high-level and multi-disciplinary exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, and to jointly promote the agricultural cooperation between China and Latin America to a new level.
