On March 20th, Shi Zuoyu, Deputy Director of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center, and Ma Jinhui, Secretary-General of the China-Latin America Technology Cooperation Promotion Association (in preparation), visited Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School and had a discussion with Wu Xiaofeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the International Graduate School. The main topics covered international talent cultivation, international exchanges and cooperation, and areas of cooperation between the two parties. Wu Xiaofeng expressed that the school attaches great importance to attracting international students from Latin American regions and actively seeks cooperation opportunities with universities in Latin American countries to further expand international education exchange. Tsinghua University has given priority to establishing top-notch engineering disciplines in Shenzhen, including the Institute of Environment and Ecology and the Institute of Biomedical and Health Engineering, both with strong scientific research support. In the next step, the two parties will explore the possibility of conducting international academic exchanges during the São Paulo Week in Brazil, focusing on areas such as ESG and green low-carbon, life health, and biomedicine.
