On November 25, the inauguration ceremony for the International Science and Technology Cooperation Base (Technology Transfer Category) of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center was successfully held in Dongguan City. Attendees included Yang Huifang, Deputy Inspector of the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province and Director of the Exchange and Cooperation Division; Hu Qinhua, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center and Vice President of Dongguan University of Technology; Zhang Yuan, Director of the Talent Introduction Section of the Dongguan Science and Technology Bureau; and Chen Baiman, Executive Director of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center.

Unveiling Ceremony Venue

In September this year, the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center was successfully designated as the province's sole International Science and Technology Cooperation Base (Technology Transfer Category). This base represents a strategic national initiative and key measure for advancing China-LAC science and technology cooperation nationwide, injecting new momentum into the Center's pursuit of higher-quality, more effective collaboration in the field.

Moving forward, the Center will continue to operate under the joint guidance of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, and the Dongguan Science and Technology Bureau. It will further implement the Belt and Road Science and Technology Innovation Action Plan, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Science and Technology Innovation Center Strategy, and the China-Latin America and Caribbean Countries Science and Technology Partnership Program for the new era. The Center will accelerate the development of national-level international science and technology cooperation platforms and continuous Dongguan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau. It will accelerate the development of a national-level international science and technology cooperation platform, continuously innovate international science and technology cooperation models, elevate the level of science and technology cooperation with Latin America, strengthen its exemplary and leading role in national science and technology cooperation with Latin America, and contribute scientific and technological strength to building a community with a shared future for mankind.
