From September 27th to 28th, the 10th East Asia Summit New Energy Forum was successfully held in Kunming, Yunnan Province. The forum invited representatives from the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Department of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the ASEAN Secretariat, science and technology authorities of various provinces, regions, and municipalities, as well as experts and scholars from East Asia Summit member countries to participate. Chen Baiman, Director of the Office of China-LAC Technology Transfer Center (CLTTC), and Wan Weichao, Financial Supervisor, were invited to attend this forum.

The forum focused on topics such as new trends in the development of renewable energy technologies and products, cooperation potential, and the effectiveness of technology transfer and technology product promotion. A series of activities, such as keynote reports, keynote speeches, roundtable dialogues, parallel forums, and field visits, were conducted. Representatives from all parties at the forum discussed policy experiences, summarized effective cases, and conducted in-depth exchanges on innovative international cooperation mechanisms and models, further encouraging and promoting the implementation of strategies for future innovation cooperation and sustainable development among member countries of the summit.

CLTTC is dedicated to promoting research and innovation in new materials, green and low-carbon technologies. It has also actively participated in and hosted numerous professional forums and academic conferences. Through this forum, CLTTC has expanded its diverse perspectives on renewable energy innovation and international cooperation. In the future, CLTTC will further strengthen cooperation and exchanges with scientific research institutions and enterprises from various countries, jointly promote the transfer and application of green transformation technologies, and contribute to the construction of a new ecosystem for low-carbon technological innovation.
