Director Chen Baiman of China-LAC Technology Transfer Center (CLTTC) and Project Supervisor Zhang Fanjing, traveled to Beijing to visit the National Academy of Sciences of Plurinational State of Bolivia, Professor Liu Xiongjun of University of Science and Technology Beijing, and the Representative Office in China of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
To promote scientific and technological innovation cooperation between China and Bolivia, CLTTC visited Lorgia Fuentes, President of the Bolivian Academy of Sciences for the Multinational State. Both sides conducted productive and friendly exchanges in key areas such as scientific and technological project cooperation, talent exchange, technical training, and reached a preliminary intention of cooperation. This meeting laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides and demonstrated their shared wishes to strengthen communication and deepen cooperation. Next, both sides will refine the cooperation plan to ensure that the intention of cooperation which can be implemented as soon as possible, achieving the goal of mutual benefit and win-win results.
Under the invitation of Professor Liu Xiongjun, CLTTC also visited the State Key Laboratory for Advanced Metals and Materials at University of Science and Technology Beijing. During this visit, CLTTC gained an in-depth understanding of the latest research achievements of the laboratory in the field of new metallic materials, which have shown broad application prospects in industries such as aerospace, electronic information, and new energy. This exchange created a solid foundation for in-depth cooperation between the two sides in materials science research and application development.
Through this visit, CLTTC had a friendly meeting with Noyola, Director of the Representative Office in China of UNAM. Noyola announced the launch of a project named “Mexico Corner”, which aims to become an important window and bridge for showcasing Mexican culture, science and technology, and educational achievements. Through this platform, UNAM hopes to deepen mutual understanding with China and promote exchanges and cooperation in the field of science and technology between the two countries, achieving common progress. The establishment of “Mexico Corner” provides new opportunities for knowledge sharing, technology transfer, and innovation cooperation between the two countries.
This visit by CLTTC to Beijing for friendly exchanges with Lorgia Fuentes, President of the Bolivian Academy of Sciences for the Multinational State, Professor Liu Xiongjun of University of Science and Technology Beijing, and Noyola, Director of the Representative Office in China of UNAM, has made significant progress in scientific and technological cooperation, academic exchanges, and knowledge sharing. With the continuous deepening of international cooperation, CLTTC will continue to play a linking role, promoting technology transfer and scientific and technological innovation cooperation between China and Latin America.
