On March 21, 2024, the preparatory meeting of the Guangdong Province China-Latin America Technology Cooperation Promotion Association (from now on referred to as the “Association”) was successfully held in Songshan Lake University Innovation City, with representatives of 25 initiating units, including China-Latin America Technology Transfer Center (CLTTC), Guangdong Tsinghua University Innovation Research Institute, Dongguan Wisai Industry Co. attended the meeting.

The successful convening of the Preparatory Meeting of China-Latin America Technology Cooperation Promotion Committee marks that China-Latin America Technology Transfer Center has stepped into a new stage of development in strengthening economic and trade cooperation between China and Latin America. In the future, the Council will build a multilateral cooperation platform, organize and carry out various forms of exchanges and cooperation, and increase the strength of services to enterprises. At the same time, it will play the role of a bridge to promote Chinese enterprises to “go out” and help Latin American enterprises to “bring in” and realize mutual benefits and win-win situation in the fields of economic and trade exchanges, science and technology exchanges, etc., to play a more significant role in promoting the high-quality development of economic and trade relations between China and Latin America.
