On the afternoon of March 27, Chen Baiman, Executive Director of the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center (CLTTC), led the entire team to conduct a working visit to Shenzhen China-LAC Operation and Management Co., Ltd. (CLAC). The visit focused on reviewing the company's development achievements and preparations for the upcoming launch of the trading platform. As a directly affiliated operating entity established under the innovative "government-led, private-sector operated" mechanism explored by the CLTTC, the CLAC is fully responsible for the actual operation and management of the China-LAC Trading Platform. Leveraging the resource advantages of the CLTTC, it continuously promotes the platform's efficient operation and sustainable development.

During the research meeting, relevant leaders of CLAC introduced the operational framework and strategic plan of the China-LAC Trading Platform. The platform adopts a dual-driven model of "technology transfer + product trade" and establishes an innovative "bilateral agent model." By developing professional service systems for technology evaluation, demand matching, and business negotiation, it effectively facilitates technology exchange and commercial cooperation between Chinese and LAC enterprises, providing strong support for the efficient flow of bilateral innovation resources. Furthermore, the CLAC is committed to building a comprehensive technology transfer service chain, achieving precise demand matching and commercialization path design, with the goal of establishing the China-LAC Trading Platform as a crucial link and resource integration bridge for promoting China-LAC scientific and technological innovation cooperation.

Director Chen Baiman acknowledged the platform's phased achievements and emphasized the need for both parties to leverage their respective resources and institutional advantages to jointly advance three key tasks: first, accelerating the construction of a China-LAC interactive resource ecosystem; second, improving the service system for the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements; and third, building a regional innovation cooperation hub. In the future, both parties will continue to deepen the "bilateral agent model," promote collaboration among high-quality technical personnel from China and LAC countries, stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship vitality, create broader space for China-LAC scientific and technological exchanges and economic cooperation, and enhance bilateral resource sharing and mutual benefits.
