On December 16, a delegation from the China-LAC Technology Transfer Center (CLTTC), led by Executive Director Chen Baiman and accompanied by Project Directors Zhang Fanjing and Huang Qiongli, visited to the Consulate General of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay in Guangzhou. They held productive discussions with Consul General Facundo Guerra on deepening future cooperation, jointly exploring new chapters of collaboration.
During the meeting, Director Chen briefed on CLTTC's recent initiatives, with a special focus on the LAC Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program and the China-LAC Digital Education University Alliance. Consul General Facundo spoke highly of CLTTC's efforts and emphasized Uruguay's strong interest in the university alliance's potential for talent development. He reaffirmed Uruguay's commitment to providing comprehensive support in science, education, and international exchange, leveraging its unique strengths to facilitate technology transfer and academic collaboration. Furthermore, he expressed eagerness to expand cooperation with CLTTC in key areas such as scientific research, economic development, and talent exchange, aiming to elevate bilateral strategic partnerships to new heights.

This visit strengthened mutual understanding and trust, laying a solid foundation for multifaceted cooperation. Moving forward, CLTTC will uphold the shared vision of deepened collaboration, working closely with Uruguay to foster a stronger bilateral relationship and pioneer innovative pathways for China-LAC scientific cooperation and sustainable development.
